The purpose of this section is to provide you with resources for writing your assignments. At the top of the page are links to assignment ideas. In some cases there are examples of these papers, and in others you will find additional links to help you prepare your assignment. There are two additional resource Links: a Trends and Issues link and a General Nursing link each of which includes a wealth of general Trends and Issues Web Sites for further personal research, or as a beginning research point for your assignments.

Make note of the evaluation link, which provides general marking criteria for your assignments. It also includes links for formatting Microsoft Word in APA style as well as general Internet Links for basic grammar and composition. You are encouraged the preview the Evaluation Link before embarking on your first written assignment.

Below are additional resource links divided into four sections: Reading, Writing, Research, and Nursing Meta Links.

The Reading Links provide additional information to supplement your course materials or could be used to generate ideas for an assignment.
The Writing Links provide additional information to help you compose your assignments. Included here is information on APA formatting and general writing guidelines.
The Research Links provide access to Internet databases or articles which may prove helpful in generating ideas for assignments, or to help you search for additional information about trends and issues in nursing.
The Nursing Meta Links resource provides links to interesting medical, nursing, and other directories
